Human Resource Manager – Cebu

Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Act as a partner with operational clients to provide generalist support while leveraging HR strategy and initiatives for maximum business impact for site/s and the company overall.
  • Monitoring and researching compensation and benefits trends to ensure cost-effectiveness and competitiveness.
  • Develop and implement new compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Administering the organization’s benefits programs and managing enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes.
  • Ensure that payments for government-mandated benefits are on-time. Provide accurate knowledge and guidance on benefits availed.
  • Assess and recommend the organization’s pay structure, prepare and update salary scales, and evaluate compensation policies.

HR Compliance:

  • Act as a consultant and point of contact for all human resource-related concerns for SEA employees.
  • Ensure the company’s compliance with labor laws and mandates regarding benefits.
  • Ensure employees have complied with pre-employment requirements.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors such as insurance brokers.
  • Oversee pre-employment requirement sessions and maintain internal HRIS.

Health Management:

  • Manage the health team, especially on health insurance for the company and employees.
  • Conceptualize the Monthly Rewards and Recognition program.
  • Monitor and process SSS Maternity and Sickness benefit disbursement.
  • Review vendor invoices, resolve disputes, and report on fees and costs.

Interpersonal Communication and Employee Relations:

  • Attend meetings of managers, supervisors, and work units to facilitate effective interpersonal communication among participants and ascertain human relations and work-related problems that adversely affect employee morale and productivity.
  • Communicate issues and challenges to concerned teams, departments, and/or managers for resolution.
  • Make recommendations to senior management regarding job descriptions, salaries, and classifications.
  • Monitor the generation of company payroll ATM for new joiners.

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits within the HR department.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a people manager in the HR field.
