Job Description – Vietnamese Translation Agent
Role and Responsibilities of the Vietnamese Translation Agent in Manila:
- Provide inbound translation services to assist members with a broad range of healthcare-related inquiries.
- Translate and handle customer service calls, ensuring Vietnamese-speaking members receive clear and accurate information.
- Build rapport with members and deliver compassionate, personalized service.
- Explain, advise, and resolve issues related to:
- Eligibility, benefits, services, networks, and plan rules.
- Transportation concerns and delays.
- Access to care issues.
- Primary Care Provider (PCP) and plan changes.
- Member contact and demographic updates.
- Payment card processing, referrals, and claims.
- Handle inbound calls and provide proactive outreach when necessary to resolve member issues and offer education.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of member inquiries.
- Perform all tasks with a compassionate, relationship-building approach to customer service
- Must perform and complete all tasks that are directed by the customer and mutually agreed upon by the team.
Job Requirements – Vietnamese Translation Agent
What We’re Looking for in a Vietnamese Translation Agent in Manila:
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent degree required.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of customer service or call center experience required.
- Prior experience with Medicare benefits, including Medicare Advantage Plans, is preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy industries is highly desirable.
- Skills & Qualities:
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English (both written and spoken) at a business level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Professional telephone manner with the ability to handle a high call volume.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills (email, word processing, etc.).
- Ability to stay calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills for handling complex member inquiries.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
