Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of the Trainer in Manila:

  • Develop a schedule to assess training needs
  • Conduct employee surveys and interviews
  • Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership
  • Track and compile collected data
  • Conceptualize training materials based on data and research
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly knowledge and skills checks
  • Communicate training needs and online resources
  • Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials
  • Test and review created materials
  • Maintain a database of all training materials
  • Instruct employee training and onboarding
  • Conduct new hire, upskill, and recursive training
  • Review employee performance and learning
  • Work with client trainers on training updates
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions through training

These tasks are subject to change depending on the nature of service of the division/department or business direction

Job Requirement

Essential qualities and attributes of a successful trainer in Manila:

  • A college graduate
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Trainer, Corporate Training Specialist, or in a similar role.
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms.
  • Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement/goals
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Organized and able to create multiple timelines and schedules
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
  • Encouraging team and staff; able to mentor and lead
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze diverse issues and strategize to create and offer better solutions through training programs.
