About the Role

As a Senior Executive – Payroll & Compliance, you will support payroll operations and compliance activities, maintaining accurate employee payroll information and ensuring payroll-related processes are handled consistently and with attention to detail. The role involves working across payroll processing, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance-related activities while coordinating with relevant internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll processing activities and ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
• Review and validate payroll inputs, employee information, and payroll-related records.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll data and calculations.
• Support payroll reconciliation activities and ensure payroll information remains accurate and consistent.
• Maintain employee payroll records and supporting documentation.
• Support statutory and payroll compliance requirements.
• Prepare and maintain payroll-related reports and MIS.
• Assist with payroll audits by providing accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
• Address employee queries related to payroll and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee and payroll information.
• Monitor payroll-related activities and ensure assigned deliverables are completed within required timelines.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance stakeholders on payroll-related matters where required.

Job Requirements:

Education

• Graduation.

Experience

• Relevant experience in payroll, payroll operations, compliance or a related function.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of payroll processes and payroll operations.
• Good knowledge of payroll validation and reconciliation.
• Understanding of payroll-related compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and follow through on their resolution.
• Good reporting and MIS preparation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
