As a Senior Annotation Specialist, you will combine hands-on annotation expertise with guideline review, calibration, quality support, and knowledge sharing to help maintain accuracy and consistency across advanced annotation projects.

Job Description:

Role Summary

The Senior Annotation Specialist will execute complex annotation tasks, support guideline reviews and calibrations, and act as a subject matter resource for advanced annotation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced annotations across image, video, LiDAR, and multimodal datasets.
• Review project guidelines and participate in calibration exercises.
• Support QA teams in resolving quality disputes and edge-case scenarios.
• Create reference examples, edge-case documentation, and annotation notes.
• Assist in training and onboarding new annotators.
• Provide recommendations to improve annotation workflows and productivity.
• Consistently meet productivity, accuracy, and quality targets.

Job Requirements:

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of annotation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Bounding Boxes, Segmentation, Object Tracking, Polygon Annotation, and Video Annotation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving client requirements and project guidelines.

Preferred Industry Background

• Experience in AI data services, data annotation, data labeling, or computer vision data operations.
• Exposure to advanced AI data annotation projects involving image, video, LiDAR, or multimodal datasets is preferred.
• Experience working in environments focused on annotation quality, calibration, and AI training data is an advantage.
