About the Role

The SAR Annotation Manager role sits within a specialized geospatial annotation program focused on transforming SAR and satellite imagery into high-quality data for AI and computer vision applications. You will bring SAR annotation expertise to an environment involving geospatial data, remote sensing, object detection, vessel and ship classification, and ontology-based labeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage annotation and geospatial production teams working on SAR and satellite image annotation.
• Work with SAR and satellite imagery as part of high-accuracy annotation workflows.
• Support annotation activities involving GIS, geospatial data, and remote sensing.
• Contribute to workflows involving object detection and vessel/ship classification.
• Support AI and computer vision data annotation and ontology-based labeling activities.
• Help maintain accuracy and consistency across geospatial annotation production workflows.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in SAR annotation
• Team Management: Experience managing annotation or geospatial production teams is preferred
• Domain Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with SAR annotation and geospatial production environments
• Relevant Areas: Background in SAR, GIS, Geospatial, Remote Sensing, Satellite Imagery, Computer Vision, or Data Annotation is relevant to this opportunity
• Quality Focus: Ability to work within high-accuracy annotation workflows
