About the Role
As a Sales Representative, you will manage inbound and outbound customer interactions to promote and sell telecom products and services. This is a sales-driven, performance-based call center role with clear expectations around revenue generation, upselling, cross-selling, billing support, and customer follow-ups. You will deliver a high-quality customer experience while meeting defined KPIs such as sales conversion, revenue targets, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and/or outbound calls to promote, upsell, and cross-sell wireless plans, devices, add-ons, and promotions.
- Identify customer needs and present compliant, value-driven sales solutions.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, including revenue, conversion rate, and attach rates.
- Provide professional billing support, including billing inquiries, adjustments, charge explanations, and issue resolution.
- Conduct follow-up calls to complete pending sales, resolve open cases, and reinforce customer retention.
- Process device trade-in transactions, including eligibility validation and system documentation.
- Guide customers with detailed product knowledge and service information.
- Maintain a consultative, persuasive, and customer-focused communication style.
- Accurately document customer interactions, sales activities, and billing resolutions in CRM systems.
- Verify customer information and ensure data accuracy in all transactions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of account, billing, and payment information.
- Achieve KPIs and KRAs, including sales metrics, quality scores (QA), attendance, adherence, AHT, and CSAT.
- Collaborate with leadership for coaching, performance improvement, and career growth initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum 6 months of sales experience (telecom, retail, or call center preferred)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a performance-driven environment
- Strong objection-handling, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Experience handling billing inquiries and account management is an advantage
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems efficiently
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM tools
- Flexible schedule availability based on business needs
- Strong commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and data security standards
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written preferred)
