Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Business Development Manager in the Utility Sector for the NALATAM Region:

  • Previous experience in BDM SALES for the BPO (CALL CENTER) sector is mandatory for this role.
  • Previous experience working with clients like AT&T or similar will be a plus.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets within the utility sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including utility companies, regulators, and industry associations.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape within the utility industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and tailor offerings to meet customer requirements.
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of sales agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and build strong relationships.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Job Requirements

Here are the essential qualities and skills needed for a highly successful Sales Business Development Manager to drive growth for utility clients in the NALATAM region:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Business Development Manager in the BPO sector for a minimum of 1 year. Candidates with additional experience will be preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the utility industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the utility sector, including industry trends, regulations, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the AT&T field or related areas is highly appreciated.

Additional Information: This is a remote position based in the NALATAM region. Candidates can apply from anywhere in the US except for the states of California, New York, Florida, and Washington. No relocation expenses or sign-on bonuses are provided. Candidates must cover their own relocation costs if moving from another state.
