About the Role

As a Proctor – Exam Monitoring Specialist, you will play a key role in supervising online exams, enforcing academic guidelines, and upholding institutional standards. Using advanced AI monitoring tools and live video/audio feeds, you will identify potential irregularities, assist test-takers with basic issues, and ensure the overall security and integrity of the testing process.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities of a Proctor or Examination Monitoring Specialist include:

  • Monitor exam sessions through software and live video/audio feeds.
  • Verify the test-taker’s identity and confirm correct exam session details.
  • ● Identify and flag any potential academic misconduct, including the use of unauthorized resources, websites, or devices.
  • Verify that each test-taker is taking the correct examination and is fully complying with all established guidelines and instructions.
  • Support test-takers with basic technical queries and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Report all observed or flagged suspicious behaviors to the designated personnel or relevant departments promptly, and document all activities and maintain accurate, confidential records.
  • Ensure strict adherence to institutional and organizational testing policies.
  • Uphold professional conduct, neutrality, and confidentiality throughout all interactions.

Job Requirements:

Required skills and qualifications needed to join this education support role:

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Two to four years of experience in customer service or a related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

  • Intermediate proficiency in computer operations, including G Suite, Slack, and a basic understanding of media players.

  • Prior experience in the education sector or remote proctoring is preferred.

  • Experience working in SaaS, EdTech, or technical support environments is strongly preferred.
