About the Role

As a Patient Services Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients calling or booking appointments online. You will assist with appointment scheduling, answer questions about services, verify patient information, and support individuals throughout their care journey. This position requires strong communication skills, accuracy, and a patient-centered approach — especially when assisting elderly patients or individuals with specific needs. You will work in a fast-paced healthcare call center environment where clarity, empathy, and efficiency are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally to assist patients with scheduling and service-related questions.
  • Provide courteous, empathetic, and patient-focused communication, especially when assisting elderly individuals
  • Schedule appointments via phone and online systems following established guidelines.
  • Verify, update, and maintain accurate patient information in the scheduling system.
  • Coordinate appointment availability and clearly communicate appointment details to patients.
  • Document patient interactions, updates, and follow-ups accurately in CRM or scheduling systems.
  • Manage high call volumes while multitasking across multiple platforms and tools.
  • Relay messages to clinical staff and support administrative follow-ups as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare data protection standards.
  • Meet performance KPIs, including call quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong English proficiency (written and spoken) with clear, professional communication skills
  • Minimum 6 months of call center experience in customer service, healthcare support, or patient services
  • Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • Comfortable assisting elderly patients with patience and empathy
  • Professional, polite, and patient-focused communication style
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn scheduling and CRM software
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
