About the Role

As an IT Executive / IT Specialist / Systems Administrator, you will support the day-to-day IT operations of the site, oversee infrastructure components, and provide technical assistance to end users. This includes managing desktops, laptops, CCTV, access control systems, UPS, telecom support, and compliance-related requirements. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, coordination with service vendors, and maintaining accuracy across asset, system, and IT operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Infrastructure Support

• Recommend and implement technologies that improve efficiency or reduce operational costs.
• Update existing software to ensure compatibility with new systems.
• Maintain desktops and laptops, including software installation and hardware replacement.
• Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement solutions for system issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot system performance problems, adjusting hardware or software configurations.
• Evaluate new technologies and equipment based on business needs.
• Monitor computer network performance, availability, and connection stability.
• Ensure security controls are enforced, including encryption, firewalls, and system safeguards.

Operational Responsibilities

• Provide local IT support to end users for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Support onsite technology components such as desktops, laptops, CCTV, access control systems, UPS, and power dependencies.
• Maintain local asset and software inventory records.
• Coordinate with local vendors to resolve technical issues and fulfil IT service needs.
• Track and resolve daily IT incidents through the ticketing system.
• Support IT compliance requirements and audits in collaboration with the central security team.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Professional certification in information technology preferred.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, network troubleshooting).
• Minimum 3–5 years of IT support experience, preferably in a BPO or IT operations environment.
• Ability to support a 24×7 operational environment during incidents or crises.
• Understanding of data center technology, telecom, dialer systems, enterprise shared services, and endpoint management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams, auditors, external vendors, and operational stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage reports, documentation, and system logs accurately.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships across departments.

Working Environment:

Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises. May be exposed to dust and debris. May be required to lift heavy computer equipment.
