About the Role
As an IT Executive – Desktop & Network Support, you will handle daily technical support activities across desktop support, data networking, and server management. You will set up and test computer systems and peripherals, install and test desktop applications and internet browsers, and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper functioning. The role also involves identifying potential opportunities and communicating relevant opportunities to the Account Manager as part of ongoing business support.
Key Responsibilities
Desktop & Technical Support
- Handle daily technical support activities related to desktop support, data networks, and server management.
- Set up desktop computers and associated peripherals.
- Test network connections to ensure proper connectivity.
- Test computers and related systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues affecting desktop systems and connectivity.
Software & System Support
- Install desktop software applications and internet browsers.
- Test installed software applications and browsers to ensure proper functionality.
- Support the ongoing operation of desktop systems and related technology.
Network & Infrastructure Support
- Support day-to-day data network and server management activities.
- Assist with maintaining reliable network connections across supported systems.
- Perform basic technical checks and testing of computer and network environments.
Business & Account Support
- Identify new opportunities related to supported clients and technical requirements.
- Communicate identified opportunities to the Account Manager.
- Support effective communication with relevant stakeholders regarding technical and client requirements.
Job Requirements:
Education
- Graduation is required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of desktop computer systems and peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of data networks and network connectivity.
- Familiarity with server management and technical support activities.
- Ability to install and test desktop software applications and internet browsers.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to test computer systems and identify technical issues.
- Good communication skills for working with clients, account managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage day-to-day technical support activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
