Job Description – IT Analyst
About the Role
As an IT Analyst based in Houston, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical and operational support across infrastructure assets—including desktops, laptops, local systems like CCTV and access control, and telecom services. You, as an IT Operations Engineer, will play a key role in ensuring these systems align with compliance standards while contributing to the infrastructure advancement of Fusion CX’s NALATAM region operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Update existing software to ensure compatibility with new computer systems.
- Identify and address system performance issues by troubleshooting problems and adjusting existing hardware configurations or software settings.
- Monitor the performance of computer networks, including connection speed and availability, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure the efficient operation of technology within the organization.
- Provide local IT operations support to end users by resolving technical queries and problems.
- Deliver IT operational support for managing desktops/laptops, CCTV systems, access control systems, UPS, and related power requirements.
- Possess a strong understanding of and hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, WSUS patch management, and antivirus technologies for effective management and performance reporting.
- Maintain local asset and software inventory records accurately.
- Coordinate with local service vendors to resolve technical issues and fulfill new IT requirements.
- Track and resolve daily IT incidents using the organization’s ticketing system.
- Manage IT compliance requirements and support audit processes in coordination with the central security team.
Job Requirements – IT Analyst
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any technical field, or completion of a relevant IT-related technical course.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in computer system repair, including work on networking and connectivity issues within an organization.
- Willingness and ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including on-call support during crises and incidents.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate, analyze, and interpret a variety of reports and records, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven capability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and team members.
- Bilingual proficiency or English fluency at a minimum of 85% or CEFR B2 level (highly preferred).
- Previous experience in the call center/BPO industry would be highly appreciated
Job Type: Full-time, Onsite
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Saturday
