Job Description – HR Generalist

About the Role

As an HR Generalist for our telecom account, you will serve as the primary HR partner for both employees and management. This role demands a confident, detail-oriented HR professional with prior experience in telecommunications campaigns in the BPO industry, shared services, or an enterprise environment. You will ensure seamless HR operations, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and performance support tailored to the fast-paced telecom sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR point of contact for the Telecom account, supporting both employees and management across all HR functions.
• Implement and manage HR processes, including onboarding, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws and Telecom industry-specific regulatory standards.
• Partner with Operations and Talent Acquisition teams to align workforce strategies with business needs.
• Support performance management cycles and coach managers on employee development within a high-performance, metrics-driven environment.
• Manage employee engagement initiatives tailored to the Telecom environment to promote retention and morale.
• Conduct regular audits and generate reports related to employee records, attendance, attrition, and headcount trends.
• Facilitate training sessions on HR policies, workplace conduct, and compliance standards.
• Address employee grievances, conduct investigations, and recommend resolutions in accordance with company policies and local labor laws.

Job Requirements – HR Generalist

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, with at least 1–2 years supporting a Telecom or high-volume account.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws, Telecom compliance standards, and HR best practices.
• Experience working in a BPO, call center, or fast-paced service environment preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
• Experience handling union-related matters or labor relations (where applicable)
• Background in workforce planning for large-volume hiring accounts
