About the Role

As a Global Travel Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for managing complete travel lifecycles—from booking and documentation to real-time support and post-travel reporting. The role requires close coordination with vendors, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle urgent and complex travel needs while maintaining cost control and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and visa requirements
  • Manage travel requests in line with company travel policies, SLAs, and approval workflows
  • Provide real-time support for travel changes, cancellations, delays, and emergencies
  • Liaise with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and external vendors to secure optimal rates and availability
  • Ensure accurate documentation for bookings, invoicing, and travel reporting
  • Handle executive travel, group travel, and last-minute urgent requests with discretion
  • Monitor travel expenses and support cost-control and optimization initiatives
  • Stay updated on global travel regulations, visa requirements, and safety advisories
  • Maintain high service standards through timely, professional, and clear communication

Job Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in a travel desk, travel agency, or corporate travel management role
  • Experience in handling international travel is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of airline policies, fare rules, and travel logistics
  • Familiarity with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Close attention to detail and strong organizational ability
  • Calm, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking tools
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends if required
