About the Role

You will handle both inbound and outbound interactions related to an educational collections campaign, supporting customers through account inquiries, soft sales conversations, and lead transfers. The role requires a balance of empathy, persistence, and clear communication to drive outcomes while maintaining a positive customer experience throughout every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions related to educational account collections and support inquiries.
  • Engage customers in professional, empathetic conversations to address account statuses and facilitate resolution.
  • Conduct soft sales conversations, identifying opportunities to re-engage customers and move them toward a resolution.
  • Transfer qualified leads to the appropriate agents or departments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and dispositions in the required systems.
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly productivity, quality, and contact targets.
  • Follow all campaign scripts, guidelines, and compliance requirements consistently.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve performance and campaign outcomes.

Job Requirements:

Experience & Skills

  • Background in sales and customer service is required.
  • Comfortable managing both inbound and outbound call volumes in a blended environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive account conversations professionally.
  • Ability to multitask — navigating systems while maintaining a focused, customer-centered conversation.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing campaign needs.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems quickly.

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills required.
