Job Description – Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representatives will be set up for success to meet the following requirements for this role:

  • Proficient in supporting customers via phone, chat, and email by identifying their needs, complaints, or other issues and providing solutions and support as needed.
  • Proactively monitor and de-escalate situations involving unhappy customers by clarifying the information, communicating best next steps, and providing solutions within 24–48 hours.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customers by demonstrating our brand’s care, listening to their concerns, and ensuring they have a memorable shopping experience with us.
  • Navigate knowledge-based platforms, including AI Intercom, Company Websites, Content Management Systems, ERP systems, and Happy Returns.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in information provided and in recording customer details to support satisfaction and resolve issues effectively.
  • Demonstrate competency and initiative to meet and exceed department metrics and individual performance goals.
  • Utilize software, databases, and tools appropriately to deliver exceptional customer service within the DTC industry.

Qualifications 

  • Customer Service Experience: 1 year (Preferred).
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience with AI Intercom, Slack, or other CRM software is a plus.
  • Experience navigating websites/browsers and using chat software (e.g., Slack); able to quickly switch between chat and other company tools such as CRM and phone software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Docs.
  • Customer-focused and able to demonstrate mastery of customer service skills.
  • Ability to maneuver between multiple tasks.
