About the Role

As a Customer Service Associate – Patient Access Coordination, you will support patient inquiries, coordinate clinic-related communication, and ensure a consistent and professional service experience. You will respond to patient questions, assist with information requests, and help maintain operational accuracy by following established policies and procedures. This role requires empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond professionally to inquiries from patients, staff, vendors, and community members.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and courteous communication during phone interactions.
  • Apply sound judgment when drawing conclusions and making decisions under pressure
  • Interpret and follow established clinic policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions, both verbal and written.
  • Stay organized and detail-oriented while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Solve problems proactively and maintain a strong customer service mindset.
  • Manage workflow in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment without compromising quality.
  • Prioritize tasks with limited supervision while supporting clinic operations.
  • Identify issues that require escalation and route them through the appropriate channels.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service or administrative support.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and professional judgment.
  • Ability to understand and apply policies and procedural guidelines.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive work approach.
  • Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and professional during challenging interactions.
  • Must be able to work from the office (WFO).
