Job Description:

In this role, you will be a bilingual customer service associate or a third-party debt collector connecting with English and Spanish-speaking consumers and working for a leading client at Fusion CX Atlanta, Georgia. Here, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Responding to incoming calls and making outbound calls to assist customers with past due balances.
  • Applying assertive and persuasive communication skills to negotiate payments and resolve outstanding debts.
  • Utilizing outbound dialer campaigns to efficiently contact past-due accounts.
  • Understanding payment issues and negotiating payments to resolve balances in full.
  • Handling customer questions or complaints effectively.
  • Communicating with multiple customers via phone and email.
  • Utilizing skip tracing practices to identify and locate past due customers.
  • Completing routine tasks following established procedures and complying with federal laws, regulations, and policies, escalating issues for assistance when necessary.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should meet the following requirements to be successful in this role as a bilingual third-party debt collector in Atlanta, Georgia, working for a third-party debt collection process:

Essential Qualities and Experience

  • Must be proficient in English as well as in Spanish.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for at least 1 year is preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with skip-tracing practices is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of federal laws, regulations, and policies related to debt collection is a plus.
