About the Role

As a Content Moderation Associate, you will review, evaluate, and classify various types of content to ensure compliance with platform rules and applicable laws. You will perform sanctions review, product and order checks, and text-based moderation while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and adherence to established review standards. This role demands strong critical thinking, resilience, and the ability to handle sensitive or inappropriate content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct seller sanction reviews by validating seller information, identifying risks, and confirming accuracy in line with sanctions guidelines.
  • Review orders flagged for potential sanctions and determine user risk based on platform rules.
  • Evaluate product comments and user-generated content; flag harmful content involving violence, pornography, or prohibited topics according to moderation standards.
  • Perform content annotation, transcription, classification, and review depending on project assignment.
  • Maintain decision accuracy, speed, and compliance with platform policies and escalation procedures.
  • Identify inconsistencies in content, ensure proper tagging, and follow quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and trainers for alignment on updates, policy changes, and quality trends.
  • Handle assigned tasks with discipline, confidentiality, and strict adherence to operational guidelines.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the immediate superior in support of division requirements.

These duties are subject to change depending on the nature of service of the division/department or business.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma.

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of BPO/call center experience (handling Customer Service) required.
  • Content moderation or related digital operations experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills (mandatory).
  • Native or fluent proficiency in the target working language (if applicable to project).
  • Fast comprehension and strong listening skills.
  • Typing speed of at least 45 WPM (higher for peak-load moderation).
  • Proficient computer and digital platform navigation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, especially when handling sensitive content.
  • Strong resilience and emotional stability to review inappropriate or harmful content.
  • A team-oriented, adaptable approach suitable for a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
  • Strong sales background is preferred.
  • Full-time availability; students, interns, or part-time applicants are not accepted.
