Job Description:

As a Customer Service Associate in the Collections process, you will manage customer interactions related to overdue payments, financial products, and repayment reminders. You will work through inbound and outbound calls, maintain accurate records, follow SOPs, and ensure timely follow-ups to support smooth recovery cycles. This is a Work-from-Office position based in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Customer Service Associate in the Collections process include:

• Work flexibly across all seven days as required by the business schedule.

• Communicate clearly and efficiently with customers in both English and Hindi.

• Handle customer interactions professionally and maintain excellent communication etiquette.

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls aligned with standard procedures.

• Ensure timely follow-ups on overdue accounts and monitor outstanding payments.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support effective debt recovery.

• Execute collection activities accurately and efficiently to meet process expectations.

• Demonstrate understanding of financial products such as Personal Loans, Business Loans, and Credit Cards.

• Work towards achieving monthly recovery, sales, and collection targets.

• Document interactions accurately and follow required compliance guidelines.

• Perform all assigned collection tasks effectively, based on business needs.

Job Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Minimum qualification is Class 12th pass.

• Languages: Ability to converse efficiently in both Hindi and English.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in collections is preferred.

  • Freshers may also apply if they have strong communication skills.

• Certification: Candidates with a DRA Certificate are preferred. Non-DRA candidates may also apply (including freshers).

• Skills & Domain Knowledge:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage collection processes effectively.

  • Basic knowledge of financial products (loans, credit cards, business loans).

  • Ability to handle targets and work under pressure.

  • Strong follow-up skills and a customer-focused approach.
