Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities of Bilingual Collections Specialist in Fusion CX, Jamaica:

  • Contact customers on behalf of our client to collect delinquent accounts via phone calls and emails.
  • Negotiate payment terms and methods when the right party is reached.
  • Respond to customer queries and take appropriate action.
  • Submit disputes on behalf of customers through the client portal.
  • Submit invoices to customers using the client portal.
  • Adhere strictly to FDCPA laws and company compliance standards.
  • Follow up with delinquent customers via email to secure payment or resolve the issue.

Job Requirements

Skills and experience required for the role of Bilingual Collections Specialist:

  • Minimum of 6 months of collections experience.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Confidence and skill in negotiations.
  • Computer-literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 CXC’s including Math and English.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Working Conditions

  • Normal BPO environment.
