About the Role

As an Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts, you will be responsible for supporting key accounting and financial management activities, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records, managing reconciliations, supporting period-end closure, and contributing to financial reporting and compliance activities. The role covers multiple areas of finance operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable oversight, bank and ledger reconciliations, audit coordination, and vendor and customer reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities and support accurate maintenance of financial records.
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure relevant financial information is properly accounted for.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct ledger scrutiny and identify discrepancies requiring attention.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and MIS.
• Provide support for compliance and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during audit activities.
• Manage vendor reconciliations and ensure financial records are aligned.
• Manage customer reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies where required.

Job Requirements:

Education

• Graduation.

Experience

• Relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, accounting operations, or a related financial function.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of general ledger management and accounting processes.
• Good knowledge of month-end closing activities.
• Ability to oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Strong reconciliation skills, including bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Ability to scrutinize ledgers and identify discrepancies.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and MIS preparation.
• Knowledge of compliance and statutory support activities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively during audit activities.
• Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy.
• Structured approach to handling financial information and accounting activities.
