“I try to arrive 30 minutes before my shift starts to get everything ready to start my day. Calls are usually back to back. I try to assist my coworkers with issues as much as I can.”

Her focus never wavers. With calls coming in steadily, she believes the key is presence, staying attentive to the caller, and ensuring every need is fully addressed before moving on to the next one. But she not only attends to her calls but also finds time to help her coworkers despite her busy schedule.

“I concentrate on the call I’m on at that time and make sure I have handled everything they need.”

Tami’s day-to-day tasks focus on billing and payments, but the real work lies in how she delivers those services with care, respect, and attention to detail. She is skilled at juggling time and tasks with a calm demeanor.

“Customer called wanting a supervisor as soon as I took the call. I listened to the caller and was able to de-escalate the caller and assist without having to get a supervisor to assist.”

“I treat each customer with respect and listen to all the issues or concerns they may have. The goal being for them to not have to call back.”
